Steve and Charlotte White

have been married for over 45 years, have two daughters, one son and six grandchildren.  They have trained horses and riders for over 50 years.  Whether you are a young person wishing to learn to ride, an amateur needing to sharpen your riding skill, have a horse you want trained for the show ring or just trained to be more fun to ride, Steve and Charlotte White would love to have the opportunity to work with you and your horse!

The Motivation

The lives of Steve and Charlotte White have been entwined with horses for over fifty years.  They have ridden, trained and coached champion Arabians, Morgans, Quarter Horses, Paints, Palominos, and Paso Finos.  But the true passion of the couple that own and operate White Training Stable is not the trophies or the ribbons.  It is the horses themselves and the people who love and ride them.

The Training

Steve believes the fastest way to train a young horse is to go slow.  He is sensitive to the horse's mental as well as physical well-being.

The Goal

To turn out a healthy, happy horse which will be an excellent mount throughout his lifetime, whether ridden for pleasure or for the show ring is the goal of White Training Stable.  Steve trains Western Pleasure, Hunt Seat, Saddle Seat, Dressage, and Driving.  He believes in starting a horse and letting him tell you which discipline he will excel.

The Care

All of the horses at White Training Stable receive the highest level of care.  They are fed five times daily, to more closely emulate their natural feeding pattern.  Also, each horse is turned out daily for exercise and play time.

Charlotte White is well known for the manes and tails of her charges.  She cares for each animal's mane and tail, braiding and maintaining them for optimum health and growth.

Also, Steve and Charlotte work to keep the atmosphere of the barn as peaceful, serene and as free of stress as possible to help ensure the horses' emotional and mental well-being.  The care of the horses is the first priority of White Training Stable.
