Horses of Hope

Horses of Hope is thrilled to announce that once again, a Show Team Hope horse and rider have done well in the AQHA Equestrians with Disabilities (EWD) classes.  But this year, they have done it in a super big way that has never been done before. 
Twenty-one year old Jessie Naaykens and twenty-one year old Chip Chocoholic made it a clean sweep of the awards for 2009!  They were the top placing horse and rider in <

  I hope that everyone has had a blessed holiday season and is as excited to begin a new year as we are at HOH!  Our 2009 Country Christmas Dinner Theater was a rousing success again this year!  We are indeed blessed to have great community support, particularly in this time of economic hardship in our country.  We are only a few $ short of matching the funds raised at last year's record breaking dinner theater event!  WOW! 

     This evening marks the official end of the 2009 Country Christmas Dinner Theater and it was a great success.  We were fortunate to be asked to give two special performances of "The Fear Not Factor".  The first was at the House of Prayer in Riverton, KS.  Last year Pastor Audie Tash invited us to come and share our play with the church and we were honored to return again this year.  The families at House of Prayer are warm and welcoming and it is a

The first weekend of our Country Christmas Dinner Theater is over and we are so thankful to all who attended and to all who have put so many hours into preparing and working at the event.  The food, auction, band and play were great for an opening weekend.  We made many new friends this weekend, with a record number of first time attendees.
